How do I register?
If you are an active or retired member of Fire, Police, EMS or Military services you can register by clicking HERE. Follow the simple directions on the registration page and complete the form fields as completely as possible then click the submit button.

How do I change my account information?
Use the username and password you selected during the registration process to login. If you do not see the "Hero Login" option on the right side of this page, click HERE. After that you can click on account information and change any of the fields displayed. You can also change your username and password.

Are there any fees for this service?
The only fee is a $50 per year membership fee. There is not a fee for users to search and find heroes. We donate $10 of each membership to local charities. Please see our "Charities" page.

Does Handy Heroes guarantee the work of the people listed here?
Handyheroes.com does NOT guarantee, warrant or recommend any of the heroes, clients, advertising or results of work and any associated items. This is a simple service designed to network and inform individuals.

What if my job category is not listed?
First make sure you register anyway and with the closest job category available. Then click on "suggest a category" on the right side of the page and submit your request. When it is accepted your account will be updated.

It says my username is already taken. Why?
If you get this message its just means that someone else that has already registered is using that name. All you have to do is alter the username slightly and you should register successfully. If you do not choose a username and password you will not be able to edit your account information.

Can I manage all my listings from one username and password?
Yes, just login with your selected username and password. You can add listings from there.

Does the description area allow me to put links and pictures?
In the job description area of your account, you can place HTML tags into the description to display remote images, create links change font color and much more. You can find more information on HTML tags HERE. NOTE: if the image is very large or odd shaped it will distort the page. These images will be revised or removed.

What if I work out of my home and I don't want my home address listed?
Firefighters, Police, EMS and Military personnel do not have to place their home address on the web site. A valid city and county must be entered for search features to work properly.

Can I pay by credit card?
You can purchase your membership via pay pal, or you will be billed via email invoice. Payment should be made to Reale & Associates on a check or money order

What if my web comments have obscenities?
If any web comments have anything that is offensive the comments will be removed immediately. The numeric web rating will remain. Please notify handy heroes as soon as possible to offensive comments.
