Helping Hands from Community Heroes!
HandyHeroes.com is a national network of service providers
made up of community heroes - firefighters, police,
military personnel, paramedics and EMS. Through HandyHeroes.com,
consumers have free, one-step access to a network of
"moonlighting" heroes who provide a variety
of services on their off time.
The concept is simple; we've always counted on these
heroes to be there when we need them. Now, when someone
needs a carpenter, plumber, cleaning service, landscaper
or any number of over one hundred different services
or trades, they can access their own hero through HandyHeroes.com.
A fundamental part of creating this unique network,
was building it with an on-going charitable tie-in.
Incorporating a cause-concept into the foundation of
HandyHeroes.com enables it to act as a vehicle for individual
community unions, fire departments, police departments,
military and service organizations to raise funds for
their favorite charities. The result is corporate giving
that credits these organizations with the funds generated
from their "heroes".
"This creates a chain that provides a win - win
- win - win situation," said Nick Reale, co-founder
and president. "Consumers are given an avenue to
locate specific service providers in their community.
Moonlighting heroes are given an affordable way to generate
business. Unions, departments and service organizations
are given a no-cost way to raise funds for their favorite
charity. And the funds raised are given to charities,
enabling them to further their cause."
